Danube Highlights – Cruise Summary

Experience the beauty of the Danube with highlights of the upper part of this beautiful river. Lively and musical Vienna offers imperial buildings and the baroque gardens of Schönbrunn Palace, whilst the coronation city of Hungarian monarchs, Bratislava, is a splendidly renovated historical city which is the only capital city in the world to border two foreign countries. Finally, the historic metropolis Budapest, known as the ‘Queen of the Danube’ is a breath taking city sprawling across both sides of the river and a sight to be seen at night with the magnificent building facades reflected in the water. In between you will get to know the enchanting landscape of the Danube region Wachau. The UNESCO World Heritage awaits you with picturesque towns and the impressive Melk Abbey.
